Welcome to BuildingPlans.ng! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and products. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildingPlans.ng, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our services.

2. Services Provided

BuildingPlans.ng provides architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction-related design services, including ready-made and custom building plans. While our designs are developed in line with Nigerian building standards and professional best practices, local authority approvals may still be required depending on your project location.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.

  • Provide accurate, current, and truthful information when placing an order or creating an account.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership of Designs

All designs, drawings, plans, documents, renderings, concepts, layouts, calculations, digital files, and related materials produced by BuildingPlans.ng, whether custom-made or ready-made, remain the exclusive intellectual property of BuildingPlans.ng, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

By purchasing or using our plans, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the design solely for the specific project for which it was purchased.

BuildingPlans.ng retains full and unrestricted rights to:

  • Modify, revise, update, upgrade, or improve any design

  • Reuse or adapt designs for future projects

  • Resell, repackage, or redistribute designs

  • Advertise, publish, display, promote, and market designs

  • Use designs for portfolios, showcases, case studies, or promotional materials

  • Edit, reproduce, or commercialize designs in any format

Clients do not acquire ownership rights to any design, even after full payment, except where explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.

Unauthorized reproduction, resale, sharing, or distribution of BuildingPlans.ng designs is strictly prohibited.

5. Use of Services

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Share, duplicate, or resell our plans without written authorization

  • Use our content for fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activities

  • Attempt to compromise the security or functionality of our platform

6. Orders and Payments

Order Process: Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Clients are responsible for the accuracy of information provided.

Payments: All payments are processed securely. BuildingPlans.ng does not store sensitive payment information.

Refunds: Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of BuildingPlans.ng. Custom or personalized design services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

7. Delivery of Plans and Drawings

Delivery timelines will be communicated during the order process. While we strive for timely delivery, delays may occur due to revisions, scope changes, or unforeseen circumstances. Any delays will be communicated promptly.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

All services and designs are provided “as is” and “as available.” BuildingPlans.ng makes no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or compliance with all local regulations without further review or professional adaptation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildingPlans.ng shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use our services

  • Errors, omissions, or misinterpretation of designs

  • Failure to obtain statutory approvals

  • Unauthorized access to user data

10. Modifications to Services and Terms

BuildingPlans.ng reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, and to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our services without notice if a user violates these Terms or engages in conduct harmful to the platform or brand.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BuildingPlans.ng, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or breach of these Terms.

14. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. BuildingPlans.ng is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of such external platforms.
